locked out of 2 accounts, no idea why. "The password for that account cannot be reset."

So I have two separate accounts and can access neither. Not the libraries, not the password reset.

I have tried logging in with usernames, also each of my several email addresses (not sure which is attached to these accounts).

When I try to reset the password, for both, I get this message:

"The password for that account cannot be reset."

This is not the same as saying the login credentials are invalid - its a lockout message. I'd really like to know why.

More importantly, I'd like to regain access.
  • That's a message you get when you try to reset the password with a username for an account that has been deleted.
