Upgrade StorageCan't get Zotero/Scrivener ODF Scannable Cite to format citations how I wish

I posted a few months back, but I don't think I worded my issue well.
I am writing a paper with Scrivener and attempting to autogenerate citations with the ODF scanning/Scannable cite feature.
What I want:
-I need AMA citations - numerical superscript in-text and proper full citations as endnotes
-Preferably, I would like the first time I mention a particular source to be given a superscript number, and any subsequent time I mention it, it retains that particular number. I realize I might have to do that manually, but it would be awesome if I didn't.
What I am doing:
I am using a Windows 10 laptop
Using Scriveners Manuscript template, which is supposed to populate footnote citations as endnotes (which it does)
When I scan:
-I compile the text
-I run ODF scan in Zotero
-Open it in Libre Office, set document style to AMA
What I am getting:
Numerical superscript in-text (good)
A superscript number followed by an abbreviated citation as an endnote in a bluish grey box (e.g Lu, 2004) (before switching to AMA)
Numerical superscript as an endnote after switching to the AMA citation (so it will say 1 1 instead of 1- Author, title, etc)
NO full citation anywhere to be found
My observations/theories:
It seems the scannable fields are already placed as endnotes, and superscripts are already being created by Scrivener.
My problem might be on the Scrivener end, but I don't know how to change the settings properly. Maybe if it did not autopopulate superscript citation markers, Zotero would work as I wish.
Where do the full citations go when I switch style preferences?
Is there a way to post screenshots to describe what is happening?

The way to go would be -
- place citation in the text in Scrivener.
- Run ODF Scan
- Set citation style to AMA in Libre Office
- Insert Bibliography using the LibreOffice add-on. Only that will create the references corresponding to the numbers.
