How can I switch accounts?

I'm signed in on my computer in the account for my research team, but I'm doing unrelated work I would like to use a personal account for. Is there a way to change my primary account?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling zotero, and the research account is still there.

    You can switch accounts from the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences. Make sure you've fully synced any data you've added locally, and consider making a backup of your Zotero data directory, since switching accounts will remove all data from the other account from this computer.
