Merging accounts

Hi.

I have two zotero accounts. An older one with 95% of my data and files on it via a Macboook, and a newer one with 5% and 2 GB storage.
I want to transfer data and files from the original to the new account and not lose data and files on my macbook.

How do I do this?
  • We can transfer a storage subscription easily, but currently to move data between accounts you have to export to Zotero RDF and import, which will reset Date Added values and break links to items from any citations in word processor documents. (You can also create a group library shared between the two accounts and use it to drag items between the two, which preserves Date Added, but that's more complicated.)

    If you just started in the new account and haven't yet used it with word processor documents, you should just export items from there and import them into the old account, and then email storage@zotero.org to have your subscription transferred.
  • (And you can change your username at any point, so there's no need to create a new account for that.)
