Extention not picking up metadata on Firefox

The Zotero extention on Firefox is only able to save to Zotero as a snapshot even when I know the page has metadata. The extention on Google Chrome working fine.

Is there a solution for this? I saw that the Firefox extention was last updated April 2 and am wondering if something went wrong then.

I've also had this problem. It works with the connector/translator on Chrome but not on Firefox.

It looks like it was updated on April 6th, so maybe they're working on it...

Thanks for the prompt, @dstillman. I'm embarrassed to say I only went halfway through the troubleshooting page before getting distracted by the update thing.

It turns out the most obvious fix (restarting the browser) was the answer. duh!

We did make a change in the most recent version that we're hoping will fix one way this could happen, though if you were already running 5.0.63 in Firefox then it sounds like it wasn't a complete fix. Let us know if you see this again.
