Having trouble exporting library on Mac

Trying to export library or collection on a Mac. Irrespective of the format, when I go to export, there is no dialog box to give me a place to choose where to save it and it does not appear that the export worked.

    Can you explain exactly what you're trying, step by step, and also provide a Report ID?

    the translators don't become active until after Zotero.Schema.schemaUpdatePromise resolves, and that doesn't happen until the styles have been checked (at least that's how I recall it working)

    restarted, tried again. Does not work.

    What I did: right click on library. Select "export library". Select format. Click "ok". This dialog box disappears but there is never a dialog box to select where the file is saved. There is no error message.

    We don't normally recommend this, but try deleting Zotero from Applications and redownloading it from the download page.

    If that's still not working, can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for trying reproducing this?

    Are you running any security software on this computer?

    Yup, the whole re-install thing did the trick. (I am running security software.)
