How to get author-short title in subsequent citations?

    It is possible with the 17th chicago style, with ibid, because I need that too

    I want thay it not takes the full title in the second or third reference of the same note (with another note in between), but that I can use a shorter title or maybe only the author in the second and third note. And also still use ibid. when they come right after each other

    I am new to Zotero. I am using Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, short title subsequent). I am in the midst of writing the first chapter of a paper and in a previous page I cited a specific work. In My Library I defined a "short title". However, when I referred to the same souce again, it noted the full name of the work. What should I do to get the short title to appear?
