Zotero app/launch on my dell chromebook?

I have Zotero on my browser for chromebook, but the actual download of the app will not work, im confused.

The default settings for Chromebooks don’t support desktop apps like Zotero. To use Zotero on a Chromebook, you need to enable Linux apps on your Chromebook, then install the Linux version of Zotero.

ive done all the steps and changed my channel to Beta, and i still don't see linux in my settings to enable. what else is there to do? i also restarted my computer.

It's possible that your Chromebook may not support Linux apps; check this list here: https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-linux

If your device is listed there, it should support Linux apps, but we can't really help you troubleshoot that, as it isn't actually a Zotero issue. See here for some more Linux setup tips: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/9145439?hl=en

If your device isn't listed there, then your chromebook just doesn't support Linux apps. You will need to change to a different device that does support Linux, macOS, or Windows.

I have the Dell chromebook 11 but not the umber code that shows up on the list, so i guess i don't have the exact model, well thanks anyway!
