See 1 and 2 on https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems for the kind of information we need.
  • It's saying: failed to download package files, check you internet connection. Details Failed to fetch http://
  • Clicking "Install LibreOffice Add-in" doesn't do anything involving an internet connection, so we're not going to be able to help you with this unless you explain exactly what you're doing. Can you also take a screenshot of what you're seeing, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and provide a link here?

Ah, OK, so you don't have Java installed and it's trying to install it for you. Zotero starts that for you on Linux when you don't have Java but it's the system doing the installation — both the "Install additional software" and "Failed to download package files" dialogs are system dialogs — so you'll need to figure out why APT is failing. You should just install Java outside of Zotero using the system tools, debugging whatever problems you run into (which we can't help with). Once Java is available, Zotero's LO extension will work.
  • yes, it worked. thank you so much!
