Issues with APA in Mendeley
I am using APA style (6th) citation for my work and with Mendeley. I entered a book in the Mendeley programme, which only has the editors' and not the authors' names. According to APA style, the short reference in the text should then give the editors' names. However, when using the word plug-in to add this specific reference to my text, it just shows the book title and not the editors' names. This is not the correct APA citation as far as I know. How can I adapt this? Why does the programme does this mistake?
I hope I clearly explained the problem and you can help me to solve it.
I was told by Mendeley support that I have to ask Zotero for this because they just share the repository.

If Zotero does generate the same bibliography, then it could indeed be an error in the CSL style. But while Zotero does manage the style repository (AFAICT), it doesn't oversee the style developments. The styles are edited by volunteers, by and large; I think @bwiernik is involved with the APA styles.
Can you check if you have this problem in Zotero? Alternatively, can you right-click on the problem citation in Word, click Toggle Field Codes, and copy and paste the code here?
