Upgrade StorageZotero updating saved files
Hi there, I am new to using Zotero and had a question regarding items that I had recently saved to my library. If those items I have saved receive an update like the spelling on someone's name is changed, will Zotero automatically update that information? Thanks for any advice!
No, not automatically, though a feature to allow manually updating the metadata from the authoritative source is planned. For now your best option, if you know something has been updated substantially, would be to paste the DOI (assuming the item has one) into Add Item by Identifier and then merge the two items, keeping the later version.
