Trying to launch Zotero===Zotero user data DB version is newer than SQL file

I just installed Zotero, and when I tried to launch it from the Tools Menu, I got the following message: "Zotero user data DB version is newer than SQL file." I then installed Firefox 3.6, and I got the same message. I'm running a Power Book G4 with OS 10.5.7

Any suggestions?

    I got the same message. First I tried Zotero 2.0. Nothing happened (per post under that the 2.0 forum). So I decided to go with Zotero 1.0. I uninstalled, then installed 1.0. I got the same message.
    I tried changing the storage directory (from Tools > Add ons). The message no longer appears but the icon doesn't work either.
    What a waste of time so far....
