Change of citation-style in word (office 365 - Mac Version) not possible.

Hello everybody,
I almost finishing my master thesis in Law and I`m in big trouble.
Im using the Chicago-style and now want to change into a German Law Style (Stüber Zitationsstil). It doesn't work....
1) I go to my Zotero-register on my worddoc.
2) changing the doc pref settings....
3) select my new style
4) sync
Result: nothing.
What's wrong?
Thanks for help.
  • I don't quite understand what you mean by "Sync", but otherwise this should work.

Start by testing in a new document with just a couple of test citations -- does it work there?
  • thanks for quick respond.
I made this test with a new document of 2 pages and a couple of test citations. There it works....
but in my original document (100 p) nothing happens: I change the citations-style... refresh the whole doc and it looks like... I would never command on the word doc.
What could be the reason? I mean, 100 p. should be manageable, or not?

Where is the "Refresh" coming in? As soon as you select a new style in the document preferences and click OK in the dialog, Zotero will begin updating the document. You shouldn't be touching "Refresh" after that.

It's possible you're just not waiting long enough for it to update the whole document. Try restarting Zotero and Word, changing the style in the document preferences, and just letting it go for a while without doing anything else.

If it doesn't seem to be working at all in that document, see Debugging Broken Documents.
