Changing the fields in "Copy Citation"

I often copy and paste individual references in the email messages. When I do so, I get the author and title, but not other information in the record (e.g., publication data, publisher, URL etc.).

Is there a way to change this?

    It sounds like you're copying the citation instead of the bibliography entry. You'd want the latter. How exactly are you doing this? Ctrl+shift+c would give you the bibliography item.
