HELP-Zotergo doesn't recognise pdf

I would like to safe this Pdf file ( https://www.ciel.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Plastic-and-Health-The-Hidden-Costs-of-a-Plastic-Planet-February-2019.pdf) and this pdf file ( https://sci-hub.tw/10.2903/j.efsa.2016.4501) but zotero doesn't recognise it. What is the problem ?

Hi sylvainp123, this is normal - Zotero needs to be able to find some metadata or text that it can match in its database. If it can't find anything to match (which is common for non-academic PDFs like the CIEL report) you can always add the information manually by right-clicking on the PDF and choosing "Create Parent Item", then filling in the details by hand, as documented here:

BTW, the EFSA Journal is Open Access, so you might have better luck downloading that paper from this address:

https://efsa.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.2903/j.efsa.2016.4501

Zotero recognized that PDF for me.
