Upgrade StorageCustom Data Directory
I imagine this is covered somewhere in the 7500+ posts on this forum, but various searches have yielded nothing. I'm thinking about creating a new data directory for my Zotero, to simplify the process of backing up. (I'd like to put it in a folder of things that I back up regularly, so that it simply gets backed up with all the rest).
Is this as simple as going to Advanced in Preferences and pointing to a new folder? Or are there errors that could result from the attempt to select something outside of the Firefox folder system?

dstillmangeorgedarroch: If you change your data directory location and want to use the same data, you have to move the directory as well. In Zotero you're just changing the location where it looks for the data.
