"Send a document to another device for editing while keeping the Zotero Structure (cloud saving).
Hi all,
I am trying o create a solid pipeline for doing research using an external
reading device.
(iPad or Android Eink reader or independent)
The concept is:
Using a software that is a PDF management and database/organizing tool for your PDFs, epub etc you can save all your documents and their structure on a cloud / (file server?).
Then via this PDF management tool (ex. Zotero/Mendeley/Docear etc) you can "send" the -already archived- PDF to the reader (iPad/Boox/Remarkable etc) to anotate it using a pen/sketch app. Then save the changes to the PDF (in the same spot of the hierarchy of the management system).
The concept is using a PC or a Mac to Study/Read/Research/Archive documents/papers/books/journals then use the reader/tablet to annotate using pen mechanism. and save without ruining the archiving/categorizing job done.
Ok it is very specific i know, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Cheers,
J.
