Zotero could not communicate on Mac

I am facing a problem with MAC and the plugin. The plugin is installed properly on Word but when I am trying to usde the citation tool a pop up window appears with "zotero could not communicate with word" sort of message. Can you help me? I have looked everywhere on the documentation. Many thanks in advance.

Do you see Zotero Word for Mac integration listed and enabled (i.e. in black, not greyed out) under tools --> add-ons in Zotero?

Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, it's enabled. I am a librarian and this is the case now for many of my students. Many thanks for your help.

Can you provide a Report ID from Zotero on a computer where this is happening?
