Problem with citation inside a note

HI, I'm using Zotero 5.0.77 and Libreoffice Writer 6.3.3.2. When I insert a citation with Zotero without the indication of the page number inside a note, the letter of the author's name is written in italic character. Not ever, but this happens often. Is it a bug of Zotero or a problem of my style? If I insert the citation with number page inside a note there are not problems.

I’m not sure what you mean. Can you take a screenshot, upload somewhere like Dropbox, and post a link here?

As you can see there is the first letter of the author and the surname. The letter of the author is in italic (G. of Lussana and P. of Virno), and it should not be.

What style are you using? If it’s one you customized yourself, can you post it to hastebin.com and give a link here?

Definitely post the style first, that's the first thing we'll want to look at, but I'm also wondering if this may be a version of https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies but affecting citations -- the last names might just not be captured because the small caps override italics.

Adamsmith, here italics overrides the small caps, but perhaps I have not understood what you mean

Could you try the exact same thing as in the footnote you screenshotted above, but with a copy of the Lussana reference shortened to just "La Dea"? Does the same thing happen with the initial?
