I want items to open in firefox, not edge

I use the Zotero Connector for firefox, so why do items open in edge, not firefox?

    Are you referring to viewing webpage snapshots? Zotero simply launches the HTML file via the operating system, so snapshots will open in whatever program is the default for .html files. This is unrelated to the Zotero Connector.

    No. This was happening with items from ProQuest, but I just opened everything (one at a time) from the collection and Voilà they opened in Firefox. I hope, when I start again tomorrow that this doesn't happen again. Although I am not a "Techie" (if that is even a word anymore), I would be interested as to why this might occur. Thank you for your reply.

    But what exactly are you opening? If not webpage snaphots, then what? PDFs? URLs? You don't open "items" externally — you just view those in Zotero itself.
