I'm referencing a few articles multiple times in my word document. Can I somehow see how often for each source?

You have to check the 'Store cite counts in "note" field' checkbox. Then, after you've imported the extracted CSL JSON into Zotero, each imported item will shows its citation count in its "Extra" field.
