References two times each time

Hello,

I have a problem in Zotero since a few days and i Don't know why.

For some of my references, sometimes the number is repeted two times like that "d'une cellule tumorale et du système immunitaire impliqués dans la réponse immune7373"

Also, i Don't have any separator behind my reference Numbers like this "profil toxicologique de l’essai676870" instead of "profil toxicologique de l’essai67,68,70".

Thank you for your help !! Have a nice day :)
  • What word processor and word processor version is this? What citation style? Can you provide a Report ID?
  • My report ID: 954143649

Word processor: Word Office 365 ProPlus - v.1909

    Citation style: Nature

    Thanks for your time!
  • Does it happen in a new document?
  • The thing is that it doesn't happen everywhere in the document, it's only for some references…

And i have an other bug when i try to add a new reference in the middle of the document with this message "You have modified this citation since zotero generated it. do you want to keep your modifications and prevent future updates?"

I Don't know if it's linked or not - and i have check previous messages about this error message but i Don't understand what i need to do…
  • The message isn't a bug — it's explaining that you modified a citation in the document manually, and Zotero is asking whether you want it to overwrite those changes so it can apply the citation style correctly. Generally it's best to say No and either make corrections to the item itself in Zotero or add page numbers, etc., via the citation dialog.

If you're having a problem with specific citations, the easiest thing to do is just to delete and reinsert those citations.
  • The problem with this message is that it appears when i tried to add a new reference (previously Added to Zotero) and after that i have like 50 other messages who appears..

And for my second problem about the specific citations, it's a 150-pages document with 100 references it's very time consuming unfortunately

When you insert a citation, Zotero needs to update other citations in the document based on the citation style (for things like ibid and given name disambiguation). That's why the message appears then. If you made manual changes to citations, Zotero needs to know whether you want to keep those modifications, and it can't safely make that decision itself. If you're getting the message all of a sudden for many citations, it's possible something happened to the document — e.g., sometimes Track Changes interferes, in which case you may be able to just accept all changes.

See Debugging Broken Documents for general troubleshooting steps here, which should be quick even in large documents.
  • Thanks for your answer.

I checked the documents and also if track changes was enabled (which is not the case). So it seems to become worst and worst on my document and i Don't know what to do…
  • See the debugging steps I linked to.
