Firefox Issue with Catalina

I upgraded to Catalina, and for some reason the Zotero connector is not loading onto my browser. I haven't had any issues with Chrome. I've been looking for resources to help me troubleshoot this problem, but have been unsuccessful so far. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

    The Firefox extension framework shouldn't really have anything to do with the OS version — it works at a much higher level.

    Make sure you have the latest version of Firefox. Beyond that, you'd probably have to ask Firefox support. The Zotero Connector is just a standard Firefox extension, so if it's not loading for you, that's a Firefox problem.

    I'm not sure what you mean by "is not loading onto my browser", though. What do you see in the Add-ons pane?

    thanks for the quick response, that was very helpful. for some reason the download button wasn't working and consequently the extension wasn't installed, but I did some Firefox investigation and manually installed the extension
