Is syncing necessary?

    I am using a standalone version of Zotero. I have several GB of references with attachments. My question is- if Zotero is saving all my reference attachment files (pdf files) on my computer locally, do I still need to buy server storage? I don't need the sync function. A detailed response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    If you don't want to access files on more than one device, you don't need a storage subscription.
