Sync issues

I have a new Surface computer and I am finding that my syncing does not work. I am getting this error:

The file 'C:\Users\VernGlaser\Zotero\storage\3G25SCZ2\prn.marketingpromo.js' cannot be created.

Check that the file is not currently in use, that its permissions allow write access, and that it has a valid filename.

Restarting your computer or disabling security software may also help.

Any suggestions?

    As we said there, this is generally caused by security software, but since you're still experiencing this, you should just paste 3G25SCZ2 into the Zotero search bar in All Fields & Tags mode, delete the snapshot that comes up, and empty the trash.
  • This is actually a completely different computer—I never resolved the issue on the other computer, as the security issues were not the problem, or at least I wasn't able to identify the problem despite spending a bit of time then, and now, trying to work through the issue.

    That being said, your suggestion to delete the file is simple, there were two website links that seemed to cause the problem. Thank you for the prompt response!
