Problem with Current Opinion in Neurobiology style

edited September 26, 2019
When I try to get the style for Current Opinion in Neurobiology, I get the following error in the debug console:

Zotero.Styles.install() now takes a style object as first argument -- update your code

Is the style definition for this journal out of date?
  • Where are you installing the style from?
  • I just clicked 'Get additional styles', both from Zotero itself (Preferences->Cite) and from the Zotero document preferences inside Libre office. It works for another journal I just tried (Frontiers in Neuroscience).
  • Why are you referring to the debug console? Is there an actual problem installing the style? If so, what happens? That style installs fine for me.

If I try to install the style I get 'An unexpected error occurred while installing "https://www.zotero.org/styles/current-opinion-in-neurobiology"'. Based on previous posts I thought I should provide this debug information since the error message doesn't seem very informative. I get the same error if I download the csl file from that URL and try to add it manually. This is the full debug output:

  • (Note that we almost never want the raw output here — we just need a Report ID or Debug ID.)

Try resetting styles from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.
  • Ah that worked! Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
