Proxy-Settings
I'm from the inside IT of our company. Many researchers and Profs use zotero. But there's a problem. On our public-network there is no proxy. In the inside network with managed devices (Windows) we use a proxy. The proxy itselfs need an authentication (Kerberos). But I've no clue what settings do I use to set. There are rare informationes in the zotero manual doing this.
I want to set a Proxy in the application, when possible to auto-detect settings. So that the devices will also work too, if no proxy is required.
With the default settings network.proxy.type=5 there will be no request in the proxy log.
What do I have to do?
many thanks
Stefan

If you want it to auto-detect based on WPAD, you have to set it to 4 — if I recall, the Firefox proxy system (which is all this is) doesn't use WPAD even if it's specified in the system configuration because they consider it a security vulnerability. I don't know if it will authenticate via Kerberos, though.
