Zotero Icon Not showing up in Word on my MAC Air

I cannot get Zotero icon on my MS Word doc and I have enabled it several times to no avail. Do I need to unistall it and reinstall? Will I lose my work?

What version of Word are you using? Do you also have Endnote installed by chance?

I believe I am using 2016. I have been trying to see what version but it only says 16 when I look at the account. No I have never heard of Endnote, what is that, another citation tracker?

Let me know if you have any issues or don’t understand something.

(Yes, Endnote is another citation program that sometimes messes with Word in unusual ways that interfere with other add-ins.)

I have done what you asked. Can you send me a screenshot of what the tab should look like or where it should appear, because I am still not seeing it in my word. Do I need to type somthing first?
