Option Fussnoten und Endnoten auswählen verschwunden

Die Option zwischen Fussnoten und Endnoten auszuwählen, war mir bis vor kurzem noch verfügbar. Beim gleichen Zitierstil ist diese Funktion jetzt jedoch verschwunden (schon beim Hinzufügen, sowie auch bei "Document Preferences".
Wie kann ich diese wieder aktivieren?

    The option only appears for note styles, not in-text styles. What style are you using? (Responding in German is fine.)

    I'd like to use "Chemical Biology & Drug Design" but any style with brackets [] would be fine. So should I just look for other styles and try them out?

    Okay, so it sounds like you are confusing footnote/endnote styles with “numeric” styles. Numeric styles have numbers in text (maybe with brackets or in superscript) and a bibliography at the end that you add with the Add/Edit Bibliography button. This is different from a note style, which inserts footnotes at the bottom of the page or endnotes at the end of the document using Word’s footnote feature.

    If you are publishing in a chemistry journal, you should use the style for that specific journal. It will probably be a “numeric” style with numbers in brackets like you describe and not a note style. So the footnote/endnote option won’t be applicable.
