something wrong with refresh?

i insert a reference in my paper,and refresh zotero plugin in word. but the List number does not change neither in word nor in reference. how can I solve the problem?

    Try if switching to a different citation style and back fixes it.

    I did not describe it accurately. The list number in word changed automatically. however,the list number in reference doent change

    which citation style are you using? Have you manually edited any of the citations (e.g. to remove brackets)?

    the style is Urology. I just deleted the space for the sake of alignment through Edit Bibliography

    Yeah, that's the problem. Don't edit the bibliography. You can revert all edits under edit bibliography and it should then update numbering.

    If there is a stray space, you can report it here and we can likely fix it, although I also guess that you can fix it by modifying the "Bibliography" style in Word.
