Zotero On Google Docs
Hi all!
I've been having an issue using Zotero on google docs. I'm working on a google docs, with a Zotero bibliography already made. I have added a few references, however, when I go to add new references, it overwrites my pervious references, as in, the previous references dissapear. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks

adomasvenDid you write this document with Google Docs and inserted citations in it from the start? Did anything in particular trigger this change?

VirginiaLarrainI didn't insert the citations from the start, others have. I added in the first few citations to the existing reference list, and then when I tried to add more it overwrote those first references I added in. I just started using zotero on google docs, so maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm adding them onto the reference list, so maybe it's the placing of my cursor?

adomasvenDid others who wrote this document use the Zotero plugin to insert citations? If not then adding yours with the Zotero plugin will not update the reference list, etc. If they have, you should be inserting citations using the Zotero button or menu options in Google Docs, and shouldn't be inserting them by hand anywhere at any point.

VirginiaLarrainYes, the others have been using the zotero plugin, and we're in the same group. I've also been using the zotero button to add the citations

VirginiaLarrainI figured it out! I was adding in the reference at the reference list as opposed to in the actual text. So when i was adding it through the reference list, it would overwrite my previous references, however, now that i'm adding the citations in the actual text, they're adding properly as they should be.
