Combining Zotero and Endnote

Hi there,

I am facing the challenge of merging multiple word documents, each with their own set and order of citations, some of which have been created via Zotero (my preference) and others created with Endnote.

I am trying to combine these documents under the Zotero umbrella. So far I have been able to import the Endnote library into Zotero, but I don't know how to link the references while maintaining the correct order. Is there a simple way to merge these documents, or am I doomed to comb through each reference one at a time.

    to the best of my knowledge, I'm afraid the latter.
    I think in the opposite direction, Endnote does have a function where it does a semi-automated lookup of citations it doesn't recognize, that might be a bit faster but I've never used it so not sure.

    That feature is essentially the same as Zotero’s RTF Scan. Similar accuracy in my experience.
