Zotero not working on Google Doc

I am working with Zotero on Google Doc and whenever I try to create a new reference, it shows me the following message:

Zotero experienced an error updating your document.

Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?

Even after I start a new document it is not solving the issue. Can anyone support me with this?

    Yes, I checked if there's copied reference in a image caption and made a new document. Whenever I tried to change a citation it shows:

    Does inserting citations work in a completely new and empty document? Does inserting in this document fail everywhere? What citation style are you using in the document?
