Save as pdf directly from chrome

I got the chrome extension, and when I try to save the pdf version of a scientific article via the extension directly from chrome, it doesn't work. When I click on the saved item on Zotero, it always brings me to the web page (instead of opening the pdf file). Any idea on how to solve the problem?
  • Can you provide an example URL? Note, also, that while saving a PDF directly should work, it's not generally what you want to do. If possible, it's better save the article page, which will usually save the PDF as well as long as you have access to it.

I tried saving the article page as well (like the one attached). When I try saving it to Zotero, I can see that it shows the "save full pdf" option, but it's in grey, as if it was an unavailable option. (Not sure if that was clear as an explanation, please let me know if it was unclear)

Also, some links work on my colleague's computer, but not for me...

I'm not sure what you mean by that — that's not text that Zotero shows. Do you mean that it says "Full Text PDF" or similar under the article title in the save popup? Does the icon change to a red X? Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for a save attempt that fails to save the PDF?
