New reference notification in a group library

I use the group library of zotero to share references with my colleague when we work n the same project/paper. The library is growing and it is not easy to notice what and who was recently added a new item. I wish that after I drag and drop an item to the shared group it will be flagged or an e-mail will be sent to the colleague: "Please note I added the following reference".
Is there a feature like this? Is it in the to do list?

Each group has an RSS feed (on the left side of the group library) that you can subscribe to using an RSS reader or a service like IFTTT to send you an email when the feed updates.

Would RSS be able to send notification when a new "Note" was added to a paper shared on the group?

I think new notes, including child notes, are captured in the RSS, but they wouldn't be in a separate feed, so if you just want new notes, there's no easy way to do that.
