Upgrade StorageDisabling name disambiguation
Hello. I am using a modified version of Chicago for my dissertation (author-date in footnotes, plus a few other tweaks).
I wanted to ask whether there are any updates on the possibility of disabling name disambiguation so as to prevent author initials from appearing in author-date citations. I know some could find this a bad idea - but I’d still like to make sure that only surnames appear, in all circumstances.
I searched the forum and the latest relevant discussions dated from 2011-12 - are there any news? Is there any way I could do this?
