Export a (sub)collection as a (preferably zipped) Folder?

I have a collection which contains mostly documents and presentations along with a few stand alone notes. These documents and presentations are basically .txt files (or html files). There are no references or bibliographies in this collection. Would it be possible to export this collection as a (zipped) folder that contains all these files along with the associated stand alone notes?

    You're saying these are all standalone attachments and notes, without parent items?

    If so, you can just select all the files and drag them to a folder in your filesystem, and then zip them from there. It might help to add the Item Type column to the middle pane, sort by it, and then select all the attachments together.

    For the notes, you can either drag them to an open text editor, which will copy them with a line between them, or right-click and generate a report (which will be a bit more attractive) and save it.

    Thank you -- This is very helpful !!

    I was however not able to drag the text items (standalone notes) to an open text editor (I tried the built-in Notepad(Win) and Emacs; the text is not being copied; not sure if this is a problem specific to my setup).

    The right-click and generate a report option works and produces a nice-looking html file so I may have to stick to this for now.
