File synchronization with PyWebDav in high port

I tried to set up PyWebDAV to get my attachments synced between home and work computers. Unfortunately Zotero tells me that the URL I give is not a valid WebDAV URL. I have tried accessing the server with Dolphin and I can at least create folders and see them on a new connection.

One possible cause that occurred to me is that the software is available in port 61669. I included it in the URL in the standard way after a colon, but I couldn't see anywhere whether Zotero supports non-standard ports.

So, how should you enter a non-standard port for file syncing? And if it's not possible, consider this a feature request. :)
  • Same here. Our server is tunnelled to via port 1008 on a public machine and zotero doesn't like it, even though from the commandline (cadaver) the webdav serve is nicely accesible.

    I'll second that feature request.
  • I guess the silence means that Zotero doesn't support it right now. Is there hope in getting this feature in a future release? I'm not in a position to run the server in the HTTP port.
