Upgrade StorageI am keep getting [{1}] instead of [] in referencing
and it does not highlight the references to grey anymore? why this is happening?

adamsmithWhat do you have selected under "Document Preferences"? Make sure that's set to "Fields" (in Word) or "Reference Marks" (in Libre Office)

adamsmithClick on "Document Preference" in the Zotero toolbar in your word processor. Check what it says under "Store Citation as"
