Creating a Customized Bibliography

I was giving a demo and was asked how to create a customized bibliography. Is the only way to create one is editing the CSL style code? If so is it difficult?

What sort of thing do you mean by customization? Changing the citation style can only be done by changing CSL -- that's moderately difficult I'd say:

Other customization (e.g. line spacing, indents, font) can just be done in Word directly at the end of the editing process

Thank you for the reply. I am not too sure what the instructor wanted to change, but it was larger than the editing in the word document. I will direct them to the CSL page and mention it is a difficult task. Again, thank you for the help.
