Font

Hi,
What is the font style of Zotero Standalone in the display like info, notes etc part?
I really liked it so I would like to know it.
Best
  • It depends on your alphabet and operating system. For those parts of the Zotero interface, it would be Helvetica on Mac and Arial on Windows. I'm not sure about Linux. You can see on your setup by opening the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of Zotero preferences and searching for "font.name.sans-serif" then finding the typeface listed next to your alphabet (for English, either unicode or x-western)
  • Hi,
I use windows 10 English. I wrote font.name.sans-serif on Config Editor but I couldn't find for English? Is it font.name.sans-serif.x-western?
    Thank you
  • Yes, it’s organised by alphabet, not by language. So x-western or Unicode would be what English uses
  • Thank you very much, It works.

  • Is it possible to use a serif font such as Georgia as the default font for Notes?
  • Yes, see extensions.zotero.note.fontFamily in the Config Editor.
  • That works - thanks!
