New Style

Hi,
I am trying to modify a new style to submit my manuscript to Applied Physics Reviews. I did the required changed successfully from http://editor.citationstyles.org/visualEditor/
I just modify Nature style as:
* add quotation marks before and after for article title
* added book publisher-place between publisher and date.
Then I downloaded it to upload to Zotero. I got the error many times "C:\Users\umitg\Desktop\applied-physics-reviews (1).csl" is not a valid CSL 1.0.1 style file, and may not work properly with Zotero. Are you sure you want to continue?"
I couldn't find what is wrong.

    If you want anyone from CSL to look at this, you'll need to share the style publicly, e.g. by posting it to hastebin.com (click save, then post the URL here).
    You can either copy&paste from the "Code View" of the visual editor or by opening the file in the text editor.

    I tried many times and did everything correctly. Now, I can now download the style clicking the "download style" button. The button doesn't work.

    I copied the code to https://hastebin.com/ but it id not work. It shows that "something went wrong".

    The style would probably work anyway, but validation fails because of this line:
    <link href="http://www.zotero.org/styles/nature" rel="Applied-Physics-Reviews"/>

    You can simply delete it.

    But the new style doesn't show the publisher-place.

    For what item type? Definitely should for books. Have you tried in a new document?

    I have one more question. It displays author as Campbell, J. L. but I would like to it as J. L. Campbell, how can I do that?

    I am the managing editor of a sciweb indexed journal, the Journal of Ethnobiology. We have a working citation style code that works on a case by case basis in mendeley but would love to publish one of our own. The working code is at https://hastebin.com/azarezuyoz.xml

    Happy to have a look.
    That code you pasted is for an avian journal though? Or did you just not rename it?
    If you link me to your style guidelines I'll get the style upload ready and get it up on the repository.

    edit: spent an hour fixing the style up and submitted it for review. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4405

    edit2: please don't hijack other threads not related to your issue. (hopefully breaks this out, so we can separate this)

    edit3: No need to post here if you already had submitted this style on the repository. We are the same people here and on GitHub. I just spent an hour making a style, when adamsmith had already fixed yours....
