Anyway to lift the limit on the screen refresh rate of the desktop windows 10 app?

would make navigation within Zotero smoother and more responsive, imho

I'm not really sure what you mean here. What exactly are you seeing that makes you think there's a problem with the refresh rate?

Stuttering.. best word I know to explain it.
My monitor is a 120hz display. Using Fraps software, zotero is refreshing at 20hz.

Not a huge problem, more of a creature comfort type fix.

(You'll want to keep an eye on CPU usage if you adjust the frame rate.)

thanks for your patience - I went in and made the changes recomended in that Reddit thread. I think it did increase the upper limit refresh rate for Zotero, but I have not seen it reach my monitors refresh rate.

refresh rate in Zotero is still low (using FRAPS to measure). When Zotero is in the background, it sits at 0 refresh rate. Then I click on it and it ramps up to around 20hz.

Still just as jittery and distracting as before...
