Upgrade StorageMissing information in Zotero
Hello,
I used Zotero for a chapter I was working on in November 2018. I created a folder for that chapter and included all the references within that folder. When I went to work on that chapter today I couldn't find the folder within my Zotero Library. I spent days putting that citation folder together. The thought of doing all that work all over again is daunting. I have the word document with the bibliography, but now if I want to make changes I will have to do it all manually instead of using Zotero as I usually do.
I used to use a Macbook Air and have started using a new Mac Desktop in January 2019. I recently downloaded Zotero onto my Mac Desktop and synced Zotero with my online account.
However, when I sort My Library on Zotero by "Date Modified" I can see that there are no new items in My Library from April 2018 to January 2019 (when I started using my new desktop computer).
I was definitely using Zotero between April 2018 and January 2019, so why is it that there are no items showing during those times?
Did my Macbook Air never sync with my online Zotero between April 2018 and January 2019? Could that be the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas as to why I would be missing all this information it would be very very helpful.

A backup from that computer would also be usable. (I take it you didn't just use Migration Assistant when switching to the desktop Mac? That's almost always the best way to switch to a new Mac.)
