Updated to Mac to 2018 Word and my citations no longer work

I used to have a scroll on my toolbar and I clicked on the scroll to add a citation. The scroll is not appearing. I assume it is because I updated word. I have gone to zotero and clicked on tools and extensions but there is not a cite pain per the google and not a place for to re-upload. How do I fix this?

    It sounds like you may be conflating a couple different things.

    1) Go to Tools → Add-ons → Extensions in Zotero and make sure the Word plugin shows up and is enabled.

    2) Open the Zotero preferences and go to Cite → Word Processors to reinstall the plugin into Word.
