Citation styles not being applied

My standalone style manager is not letting me save preferred citation style. It does not save a selected style!

Also, on Libre Office, all I see in my footnotes is "[Citation]" but not the actual citation, despite trying to save it via Docu Preferences in the plugin. Please help?
