Problems with Google Scholar
Hi,
I have a problem with saving papers from google scholar.
I can't save multiple files from the google scholar results page by using the folder save icon, but I have to go to the page of each results individually.
All was fine until this morning when it suddenly stopped working.
Now the zotero item selector opens, but when I try to save the selected files it gives me the following error:
"An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information."
I have followed the instructions on the zotero troubleshoot site, but these didn't work.
My Zotero is updated as well as my firefox. I have tried re-loading, shutting down, new installation of zotero connector and using a chrome instead.
My URL is for example:
https://scholar.google.de/scholar?hl=de&as_sdt=0,5&q=Ecophysiology+Marenzelleria+North+Sea+&btnG=
If I go on the direct webpage the download works:

Can somebody help me out on this?

This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
If you click on the quotation mark under the reference and then on "BibTeX", does that work?
If so, run through https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues please if not, you're likely locked out of google scholar temporarily -- have you been using it a lot?
https://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library#large-scale_imports_from_databases
that didn't work either.
yep, have been using it a lot these last days.
I went through the whole troubleshooting as before and I checked everything the last time except I missed out the step of deactivating the add-ons --> this worked and it is all back to normal!
Thanks for the help
that is a really cool link. I actually started doing this already, but this will make things much easier. Thanks
The Publish or Perish app is also useful for exporting from Scholar.
