Link to validate identity

The Welcome to Zotero email from includes a link which generates the following message:
Suspicious link
Malicious emails often link to this site. Are you sure you want to proceed to www.zotero.org?

What should I do?

    That's a message from Gmail, but I'm not seeing a similar message for emails from zotero.org.

    @Kencogl: Is it still showing this for you?

    I am using Windows Defender.

    I made the judgement that the link was innocuous. Nothing untoward seems to have happened.
