zotero et JAWS ou NVDA
Hello. I am a blind user of Zotero. I use JAWS or NVDA screen readers. Unfortunately, I can not get access to this magic icon: "add a document its identifier.Anybody can help me please? Is there a keyboard shortcut to get there? pity that such a good application may be accessible to the blind.

bwiernikIf you install the Zutilo plugin, you can specify keyboard shortcuts for most Zotero functions, including Add by Identifer. Download it from here: https://github.com/willsALMANJ/Zutilo/releases/download/v3.0.3/zutilo.xpi

dstillmanAnd to clarify, you download that XPI file to your disk and install it from the Add-ons window in Zotero, accessible from the Tools menu.

biobienThank you for your quick response. I installed the famous Zutilo. But I found all the functions except the function add a document by its identifier. What to do indeed? How is it that such a beautiful function is inaccessible to the blind? Please help me

bwiernikSorry, it looks like the function is called “Lookup item by identifier” in the Zutilo shortcut list.

biobienThank you for your reply. No. Such a function does not exist in the Zutilo list I have installed. Is there not a way to increment the function in Zutilo's list? I write my thesis in law and I will lose too much time entering the references manually. So it's important to the point where I'm ready for my computer to be taken away for troubleshooting.

biobienBwiernik, Thank you. You are right. It is resolved. You are all great.

bwiernikOne other note, if you are writing a law thesis, you might want to check out Juris-M, a version of Zotero with much expanded legal citation support https://juris-m.github.io
