Edit an existing item in Zotero

Dear all,

I am seriously struggling to find a way to edit existing item in my Zotero library (i.e. misspelled author's name). I remember it was quite easy but with the new version I am stuck.
Can anybody help?

    In the Zotero desktop program, just click on the author’s name and correct it.

    On zotero.org, you need to click the Edit button at the top of the page (it looks like a piece of paper and pencil). In general, I don’t recommend using the web library for editing items.

    Hi thanks. For some reason the window was not showing the right-side bar containing the information!!!

    I´m suspecting you accidentally hid the right-hand pane in Zotero, since the way this works hasn't changed since Zotero 1.0. If you don't see the "Info" panel on the right, click and drag left from the right side of Zotero.
